35th anniversary of Mapfre Re’s Representative Office in Colombia
Mapfre Re is marking the 35th anniversary of its Representative Office in Colombia, a milestone that underscores the company’s long-standing commitment to the Colombian market and to Latin America over several decades of shared growth and collaboration.
During the event, that brought together nearly 200 clients, partners, and brokers from Colombia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, and Panama, the company’s track record built on long-term vision, technical rigor, closeness, and consistency was highlighted, while also expressing gratitude for the trust placed in Mapfre Re throughout these years.
During his remarks, Miguel Rosa, CEO of Mapfre Re, proudly emphasized the company’s strong and enduring presence in the region, with more than 40 years of operations in Mexico, 35 years in Argentina and Colombia, and 10 years in Brazil. This journey, he noted, reflects a way of doing reinsurance grounded in commitment, soundness, and long-term relationships.
Looking ahead, Mapfre Re reaffirms its determination to continue creating value, strengthening lasting relationships, and supporting its markets with responsibility and a genuine service-oriented spirit.
