The aim of the Ruschlikon initiative is to reshape the reinsurance industry, modernize and digitize it, designing and implementing processes that reduce operating costs and improve customer service by increasing the speed, quality and integrity of information.
During the online event, the main lines of the project were explained, a review was made of what has happened so far and real cases of use in MAPFRE RE, Towers Willis Watson and Swiss Re were shown. Daniel Quermia, Deputy General Manager and CFO of MAPFRE RE, presented the case study of MAPFRE RE, a member of the Ruschlikon community since 2015, which seeks to improve efficiency and make it easier for reinsurers to process the company's accounts.
With the help of the provider WebConnectivity and community members, these standards have been used and the results have been more than satisfactory:
- 50% improvement in response time.
- 50% reduction in reconciliation work.
- 23% improvement in data quality.
