On 15 May, the first training on medical underwriting addressed to the Life insurance market in Brazil was held.
Javier Sánchez Cea, director of MAPFRE RE DO BRASIL was in charge of opening the conference, the first of the events that will take place on the occasion of the company’s tenth anniversary. Ana Villanueva, Chief Medical Officer in MAPFRE RE was in charge of the training and provided a new approach to the Medical Underwriting for Personal Lines. She tackled important issues for the development of the local market such as AIDS coverage and new technologies for the underwriting process.
